WELCOME TO THE ENTELEKY PROJECT MEDIA SECTION Now you can have your own miniwebsite with the Enteleky Project: The Enteleky Project will design and host your website for a low initial fee. The website will normally be composed of one to three pages. You would provide the text content, we will put it on the Internet. The initial one time set up fee is $350.00. The monthly hosting fee is $10.00. This includes coding of content, designing forms, graphics and adding the site to major search engines. Now you can also advertise on our website. We, at The Enteleky Project, have extensive and very ambitious plans to grow the enterprise and add features and services that will considerably benefit our larger community. Among our planned projects is to incorporate vast databases of information such as Lexis Nexis, The National Trade Database, Bloomberg Finance News (Investment news and analysis), Success Magazine (Moroccan Business and Investment news), Encyclopedia Britannica, The New York Times, and other useful services and publications. Accessing these databases thru the Enteleky Project site will be cheaper as we benefit from group rates and special discounts. To accomplish all this we need resources. One way to provide for this resources is opening our site to individuals, companies and organization that share and believe in our vision and are interested in helping us grow. At the Enteleky Project site you can post your already designed banners, or you can commission us to design them for you. Size and Placement Banner images must be 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels tall. Banners appear at the bottom of the page. File Format Ad banners should be submitted as separate files in GIF or JPEG format. Animation Images can be animated using the GIF89a standard. Animated images should loop with a refresh time of no less than two seconds. To ensure optimal delivery of your image to all browsers and platforms, images should be submitted without transparent backgrounds. Frame disposal method for all frames in the animation should be set to "do not dispose." ALT Text ALT text should accompany all materials. ALT text may not exceed one sentence or more than 10 words. Linking URL An active linking URL must be provided corresponding to each piece of creative (banner). File Size All banner artwork must be 10K or less for static banners or up to 12K for animated banners (GIF89a). If you are using buffer pages, all artwork and text combined should not exceed 40K. Deadlines New advertisers must have their creative to The Enteleky Project two business days prior to their start date. Existing advertisers may change their creative as often as they like as long as we receives their creative by noon the day before the "start date." Banner programs that include technologies such as Shockwave and RealAudio require longer lead time. Materials for these programs must be received one week prior to start date. Dimensions and Placement The resulting display from the banner images and HTML must be 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels tall. Banner ad will appear at the bottom or at the top of a page. You can specify what section you want your banner to appear. File Size The total of all GIF images, HTML and script must be less than 10K. Some exceptions may apply. Source Code HTML form ad may allow the user to select from a combination of options that will return special information to the desired site (i.e. search string, specific URLs) and send the user to a specific page of the desired site upon responding to the banner. Please limit your HTML ad to 1500 characters per html ad with no more than 8 Option Values (pulldown selections). Testing An HTML Form banner driven by a cgi script must be tested for correct operation on Netscape and Microsoft Internet Explorer on Windows 95, Solaris Unix (Netscape only), and MAC OS prior to submitting. Deadlines All associated banner images and HTML must be delivered to The Enteleky Project seven business days prior to their start date. Any banner not conforming to the above specifications will result in delayed start dates. Updated materials must be received five business days prior to the desired date of implementation. Hot CornersThe hot corner consists of two important components: (a) a hot corner linking image; and (b) a series of hot corner content pages. Requirements for these two components are described below. Hot Corner Linking Image Size and Placement Linking images must be 110 pixels wide by 65 pixels tall. Linking images appear at the upper right corner, bottom left corner or bottom right corner of the selected venue's front door and internal pages. The linking image will link to your hot corner content pages. File Format and Size Linking images should be submitted as files in the GIF format. Static linking images must be no larger than 3K. Images animated using the GIF89a standard must be no larger than 5K. Animation Animated images should loop no more than twice with a refresh time of no less than two seconds. To ensure optimal delivery of your image to all browsers and platforms, images should be submitted without transparent backgrounds. Hot Corner Content Pages Content The Enteleky Project writers and designers, in consultation with the advertiser, will develop the content according to The Enteleky Project editorial and design guidelines. Number of Pages and Links The number of HTML pages hosted on the selected site under the hot corner offering shall not exceed four: one page for the hot corner front door, and three or fewer subsidiary content pages. Any combination of links between hot corner pages is permitted. Any combination of links to external sites is also permitted. Page Width and File Size The width of each hot corner page, including all graphics and text, must be no greater than 520 pixels. The total file size of each hot corner page, including all graphics and text, shall not exceed 200K. Deadlines Source documents for new hot corner pages and linking image must be delivered to us15 business days prior to the planned start date. Existing hot corner pages may be updated upon request. Updated materials must be received seven business days prior to the desired implementation date. InterstitialsThe interstitial consists of a streamed one, two or four minute live-action commercial using GIF89a, Shockwave or Java technology. Interstitial Image Size and Placement Interstitial images should be 300 pixels wide by 65 pixels tall. An interstitial resides at the top centre of selected venue pages. File Format Interstitials should be submitted as files in the GIF89a, Shockwave or Java formats.No ActiveX for now. Animation Images can be animated using the GIF89a standard. To ensure optimal delivery of your image to all browsers and platforms, images should be submitted without transparent backgrounds. Frame disposal method for all frames in the animation should be set to "do not dispose." ALT Text The ALT text for each interstitial, unless otherwise specified, will be the name of the advertiser. Specified ALT text may not be longer than five words. File Size All interstitials must stream. Interstitials animated using the GIF89a standard must be no larger than 50K. Deadlines New interstitials (completed materials) must be delivered to ORIGO 10 business days prior to the planned start date. Existing interstitials may be updated. Updated materials must be received seven business days prior to the desired implementation date. More complex banners, such a animated Macromedia Flash
banners, are a little more expensive and price will be determined according to complexity.
